JSC Insurance Payment Guarantee Fund is the only organisation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan that guarantees insurance benefits:
- to the insured persons in case of withdrawal of the licence of the insurance company;
- Victims of road accidents, if the perpetrator has fled the scene of the accident and it is impossible to
identify him.
JSC Insurance Payment Guarantee Fund is a non-profit organisation in the form of a joint stock company
and has been operating since August 2003 on the basis of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On
Insurance Benefits Guarantee Fund" and its constituent documents.
The main goals of the Fund are:
| - | to protect the rights and legitimate interests of insured persons (policyholders, beneficiaries) | |
| - | to ensure protection of rights and legitimate interests of persons whose life or health has been damaged by another person as a result of a transport accident, in cases stipulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Guarantee Fund of Insurance Compensation"; |
|
| - | to ensure the functioning and development of the system of guarantee of insurance payments in the manner provided by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Guarantee Fund of Insurance Payments" and regulatory legal acts of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation and development of the financial market. |
