INSURANCE MARKET TRANSFORMATION: NEW OPPORTUNITIES, TECHNOLOGIES, AND GUARANTEES

KIF 2025 is a key event for Kazakhstan’s insurance community and its international partners. It will bring together representatives from the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of Kazakhstan, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the Government of Kazakhstan, insurance companies, other financial market participants, and insurance guarantee funds from 25 countries. The forum will serve as a platform for discussing critical aspects of the development of Kazakhstan’s insurance sector, including regulatory frameworks, insurance payment guarantees, digitalization, and the enhancement of insurance products.

In 2025, the Insurance Payment Guarantee Fund of Kazakhstan holds the chairmanship of the International Forum of Insurance Guarantee Schemes (IFIGS), highlighting Kazakhstan’s growing role in the global insurance system. As part of this responsibility, Kazakhstan will host the 12th International Conference and Annual General Meeting of IFIGS, becoming a central hub for international dialogue on the evolution of insurance guarantee schemes.

FORUM OBJECTIVES

KIF 2025 aims to identify key trends shaping the insurance market. Special emphasis will be placed on regulatory reforms and their role in fostering the development of the insurance sector, as well as on improving insurance products such as health insurance, auto insurance, and critical illness coverage. A major focus will be the integration of digital technologies to significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of insurance organizations.
